On Leave

To avoid my brain frying, I am taking this whole week off. Whole. Week. Off.

with nothing in particular to do... that's the point! So if I don't pick up the phone, yeah well... the phone is on leave as well, so it doesn't fry out either :D

It stops here and now. I have no idea what I'm doing or what I'm going to do; I might as well discuss it with several friends and colleagues, but I'm pretty sure that IT HAS TO STOP.

Promises We Can't Keep

Has the following ever happened to you?

A project is done between bosses, and a brief is handed down to us lowly executives. The promise also includes off-site support from another office. The actual support is key to the deal...
Yet the support can't be delivered, but you take the shit from the client, since you can't deliver.
Manage the client, they say.
I say, if I want to manage a client well, I better make damn well sure my side has done all the promises.
So now, I can't deliver on a promise I didn't make.
Is it my fault?
